22851. ONGC to procure one lakh oxygen concentrators on behalf of Govt of India

- The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited has been given the responsibility to procure one lakh oxygen concentrators on behalf of the Government of India.
- This step has been taken to help the country tide over Oxygen shortage during the second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. The cost of procurement will be borne by the Government.
- India’s largest crude oil and natural gas company has informed that ONGC has placed the orders for 34 thousand 673 Oxygen concentrators to overseas vendors for immediate supply. Of these, two thousand 900 are expected to be received by the 21st of May.

- पहली अप्रैल को ऑक्सीजन की आपूर्ति 538 टन प्रतिदिन थी जिसे बढ़ाकर चार हजार टन प्रतिदिन से अधिक कर दिया गया है।
- पेट्रोलियम और प्राकृतिक गैस मंत्रालय ने बताया कि कल इस्पात संयंत्रों से देश भर में चार हजार 435 टन तरल चिकित्सा ऑक्सीजन की आपूर्ति की गई। देश भर के सार्वजनिक और निजी क्षेत्र के इस्पात संयंत्रों से नियमित रूप से तरल चिकित्सा ऑक्सीजन की आपूर्ति की जा रही है।
- महत्वपूर्ण देखभाल और आपात चिकित्सा देखभाल संबंधी बुनियादी ढांचे को मजबूत करने के लिए पेट्रोलियम और इस्पात क्षेत्र की कंपनियां देभ भर में युद्ध स्तर पर अस्थायी जम्बो कोविड देखभाल केन्द्रों में ऑक्सीजन सुविधायुक्त 12 हजार बिस्तर उपलब्ध करा रही हैं।

- म्युकोरमाइकोसिस के उपचार के लिए फंगलरोधी दवाई एम्फोटेरीसीन-बी की बढ़ती मांग के बीच केन्द्र सरकार ने इस दवा का उत्पादन बढ़ा दिया है। म्युकोरमाइकोसिस को ब्लैक फंगस के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। इससे ज्यादातर मधुमेह रोगी ही प्रभावित होते हैं।
- रसायन और उर्वरक राज्य मंत्री मनसुख मंडाविया ने इस दवाई की आवश्यकता और आपूर्ति की समीक्षा की है। उन्होंने ट्वीटर पर कहा कि सरकार ने एम्फोटेरीसीन-बी के घरेलू उत्पादन और आयात को बढ़ाने के लिए विनिर्माताओं के साथ रणनीति बनाई है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस दवा की आपूर्ति कई गुणा बढ़ाई गई है।
- श्री मंडाविया ने कहा कि दवा के वितरण और आपूर्ति श्रृंखला के प्रबंधन की सक्षम प्रणाली तैयार की गई है और इसके भंडारण की समस्या भी जल्द से जल्द दूर कर दी जाएगी। उन्होंने राज्यों से आग्रह किया कि दिशा-निर्देशों का सख्ती से पालन करते हुए इस दवा का उपयुक्त इस्तेमाल किया जाए।

- Wrestler Labhanshu Sharma has turned his car into an ambulance with oxygen facility in Rishikesh.
- The second wave of coronavirus pandemic has ravaged the country with India recording more than 2.60 lakhs cases daily. In times of acute shortage of oxygen and ambulances, Labhanshu has started the free service for those in need. The service can be availed by calling the wrestler on his mobile.
- "I have converted my car into a free temporary ambulance for the people in need. I have also written a helpline number on the car and have pasted stickers of 'Free Ambulance' on all four sides of the vehicle. The service can be availed by anyone just by contacting me on 9997170782," Labhanshu told ANI.

- LANXESS India has committed over INR 2.1 crores as part of its CSR spends to support the medical infrastructure in the country in its fight against the Coronavirus pandemic.
- To help medical institutions tackle the situation better, LANXESS India has donated twenty units of advanced German Ventilators worth approximately INR 1.9 crores to hospitals in Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
- The company donated these ventilators to nine hospitals in the states of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat where the company has its sites and offices.

- प्रदेश में वित्तीय सुधारों का असर जमीन पर नजर आने लगा है। बीते वित्तीय वर्षो की तुलना में वर्तमान में पूरे किए गए विकास कार्यो में 12 गुना की बढ़ोतरी हुई है। अतीत में औसतन 2000 कार्य पूरे किए जाते थे। अब आज तक 11508 कार्य पूरे हो चुके हैं और जब तक चालू वित्तीय वर्ष समाप्त होगा तब तक लगभग 25 हजार कार्य पूरे होने की उम्मीद है। यह बीते सालों की तुलना में 12 गुना अधिक है।
- मुख्य सचिव ने कहा कि कोविड महामारी के बावजूद मौजूदा वित्त वर्ष में राजस्व वसूली में सुधार प्रदेश की अर्थव्यवस्था को बेहतर बनाने में सहायक साबित होगा।
- वर्ष 2021-22 में 44245 योजनाओं में से 42102 के लिए टेंडर जारी किए गए हैं। इनमें से 28523 योजनाएं निर्माण के विभिन्न चरणों में हैं। इनमें 25 हजार इसी वर्ष पूरी होंगी। लंबित 2357 परियोजनाओं को पूरा करने के लिए मंजूरी दी गई हैं। इनमें से 1192 योजनाएं 1983.77 करोड़ की लागत से पूरी हो चुकी हैं।

- कोरोना से लड़ने के लिए देश में रक्षा अनुसंधान और विकास संगठन (DRDO) द्वारा विकसित कोविड दवा 2-DG को लॉन्च किया गया. इस दवा को लेकर राज्य सरकारें उत्साहित हैं. उत्तर प्रदेश और हरियाणा की सरकारों ने इसे खरीदने के निर्देश दे दिए हैं
- एंटी कोविड दवा 2-DG के लॉन्च होने के बाद ही यूपी के सीएम योगी आदित्यनाथ ने DRDO की दवा को मंगाने के लिए अफसरों को निर्देश दिए. सीएम योगी ने अफसरों को दवा की मांग पत्र केंद्र को भेजने को कहा, क्योंकि भारत सरकार के स्तर से ही 2DG दवा का वितरण होगा. इसलिए मुख्यमंत्री योगी ने यूपी में आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए अफसरों को मांग पत्र केंद्र सरकार को भेजने के निर्देश दिए हैं.
- इसी प्रकार हरियाणा सरकार ने भी दवा को खरीदने के लिए दिलचस्पी दिखाई है. हरियाणा सरकार ने भी डीआरडीओ की एंटी कोविड दवा को खरीदने के निर्देश दे दिए हैं. राज्य के गृहमंत्री अनिल विज ने खुद इसकी जानकारी दी है कि हरियाणा सरकार प्रदेश में वितरण के लिए DRDO की इस दवा की खरीददारी करेगी. उन्होंने एक ट्वीट करते हुए इस बात की जानकारी दी.

- यह एक मिनट के भीतर करीब 10 लीटर ऑक्सीजन देने में सक्षम है. जिससे एक ही वक्त पर दो मरीजों का उपचार हो सकता है
